CSR Report 2006

Cheminova has decided once a year to prepare a statement concerning the conditions relating to social responsibility, safety, health and environment. The statement will be published as an online Corporate Social Responsibility Report.

The background for the decision is that several of Cheminova’s interested parties need more and better information about Cheminova’s activities and efforts in these areas - also known as Corporate Social Responsibility.

The CSR reporting on the website must be considered a supplement to the other reporting concerning for instance commercial and financial conditions communicated through both Cheminova’s and Auriga’s medias.

In the annual statements, reporting will be made on selected CSR aspects and objectives laid down on specific areas.

The main subjects of the CSR Report 2006 are the safe use and phase-out of the most toxic pesticides in the Third World countries, environmental aspects in relation to Cheminova’s production facilities in India and Denmark, and supplier management.
